Plastic cardholders of Kapital Bank OJSC must present a valid identification document (ID card, passport, or temporary/permanent residence permit) when performing transactions in the countries listed below. Without proper identification, transactions in these countries will be declined:
- Republic of Armenia
- Republic of Côte d’Ivoire
- Belize
- Islamic Republic of Afghanistan
- Islamic Republic of Iran
- Republic of Iraq
- Democratic Republic of the Congo
- Cooperative Republic of Guyana
- Lao People’s Democratic Republic
- Republic of Liberia
- Union of Myanmar
- Republic of Somalia
- Republic of Sudan
- Kingdom of Thailand
- Socialist Republic of Vietnam
Sign the signature panel on the back of your card immediately upon receipt
Never write your PIN on the front or back of your card.
Store your card and PIN separately to reduce the risk of simultaneous loss or theft and to prevent unauthorized access to your account.
Never lend your card to any third party.
Inspect ATM card slots carefully before use and ensure no unauthorized devices are attached.
Always keep your PIN confidential and do not authorize anyone else to perform transactions on your behalf.
Only allow your card to be scanned by official POS terminal.
Avoid providing card details on unknown or suspicious websites.
To manage your account efficiently, we recommend using the Bank’s SMS Banking and Internet/Mobile Banking services.
In countries where chip technology is not widely adopted (including the USA, Canada, Latin America, and parts of Asia), transactions are considered higher risk. For your security, avoid frequent use of cards with significant funds in these regions.
