Terms
In cases where the card is physically damaged or lost, the Bank will replace it with a new one free of charge upon the customer’s request.
During the validity period of the insurance agreement, the card may be replaced up to a maximum of three times.
Insurance fee: 1 AZN per year (the service fee is automatically deducted upon the first use of the card).
Covered risks:
- Theft and robbery risks - Adverse incidents occurring at ATMs - Fire-related risks - Natural disasters - Intentional acts committed by third parties - Cases of loss - Other unforeseen incidents
This service is available to holders of Birbank Cashback, Birbank Umico, and Birbank Miles installment cards. It becomes effective upon the first use of the card and remains valid for one year. Under this insurance, if a bank card is physically damaged or lost, the plastic card will be replaced free of charge at the customer’s request. Within the one-year insurance period, the card may be replaced up to a maximum of three times at no cost. The annual insurance fee is 1 AZN. Coverage includes theft and robbery risks, adverse incidents occurring at ATMs, fire-related risks, natural disasters, intentional acts committed by third parties, cases of loss, and other unforeseen incidents.
